Biometric Data Notice

The engine identifies facial landmark coordinates in the chosen image and derives four geometric dimensions from them. Those points and derived values exist while the browser performs the scan; they are not a database record and are not used to identify you.

BIPA treats a scan of face geometry as a biometric identifier whether or not it is used for identification, so FaceGrader describes the boundary plainly.

• The chosen photo is opened by your browser and is not transmitted to FaceGrader.
• The landmark model and scoring calculation run on your device.
• The 478 coordinates and derived values exist in browser memory while the scan runs.
• The result is placed in this tab’s sessionStorage, consumed once by the result page, and removed.

FaceGrader does not collect, capture, receive, or otherwise obtain face geometry during a free scan. There is no server retention schedule because there is no server copy.

Closing the tab ends the tab-scoped session. FaceGrader has no server-held geometry to retain or destroy.

We do not sell, lease, trade, or disclose facial geometry from the free scan. There is no server-held geometry to provide to another organization. We may respond to a valid legal order as required by law.

Keep the chosen image on a device and in a browser you trust. Choose only your own image or one for which you have permission. Do not use the tool to harass, rank, or humiliate another person.
