Face Rater
The face rater runs in your browser on 478 facial landmarks. It returns symmetry, facial thirds, facial fifths, and golden ratio sub-scores, plus the dimension that scored highest. No face, multiple faces, or a face that is too small is rejected without a score. Every result identifies engine version 1.0.0.

Rate My Face
Choose a photo and read the result in seconds. The same photo and engine version produce the same rounded result each time. The composite appears as 0–100 and as 0–10 with one decimal; the four sub-scores are integers. There is no sign-up, email, or payment for the free scan.

Attractiveness Rating
This attractiveness rating is a geometric reading, not an opinion. The engine measures four dimensions against one reference average face, then combines them with fixed weights. A greater distance from that ruler is not a judgment about how someone looks or what they are worth.

Looks Rating
A looks rating here is a composite rather than a single trait. Two people can receive the same number from different sub-score combinations, so the result keeps all four dimensions visible instead of presenting one unexplained verdict.

Beauty Rating
The word beauty is not part of the math. The reference is one statistical average reconstructed from MediaPipe canonical face coordinates. The upper-third value is explicitly estimated because a mesh forehead point is not your actual hairline.

The Four Weights and the Formula
Symmetry 35%, facial thirds 25%, facial fifths 25%, and golden ratio 15%. The composite is 0.35 × symmetry + 0.25 × thirds + 0.25 × fifths + 0.15 × golden.

Limits of a Front-View Scan
This is a front-view measurement. The upper third is estimated from the mesh forehead point rather than your actual hairline. Nasal projection, facial convexity, and chin projection are not scored because they need a side view.

How is my face rating calculated?+
The scorer normalizes landmark coordinates, computes four deviations, maps each deviation to a 0–100 sub-score, and combines the unrounded values. A rejected image stops before this step and receives no number.
What do the four face-rating sub-scores represent?+
They are symmetry, facial thirds, facial fifths, and golden ratio. Each is shown as an integer, alongside the measured values and reference bands that make the result inspectable.
How does the composite weight each dimension?+
Symmetry 35%, facial thirds 25%, facial fifths 25%, and golden ratio 15%. The composite is 0.35 × symmetry + 0.25 × thirds + 0.25 × fifths + 0.15 × golden.
Why does the same file repeat the same rating?+
Engine v1.0.0 is deterministic after landmark detection: the same photo file and engine version produce the same rounded result. Different photos can differ because lighting, pose, expression, and crop move landmarks.
Does this face rater rank beauty?+
No. It reports distance from one reference average face measured from MediaPipe canonical coordinates. The result is a geometric reading, not a population ranking or verdict about a person.
What happens to a rejected photo, and is anything uploaded?+
A quality rejection shows only the engine reason and retry hint; it never shows a total or partial score. The free scan stays in your browser and does not upload or store photos, measurements, or server result records. Side profiles are not supported.
